Trust Ship Management Pte Ltd. manages a spectrum from 80 T BP until 150 T BP of offshore vessels including Anchor Handling and Supply Vessels, mostly young and energy-efficient with an age profile below the Singapore average.

SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION POLICY


In accordance with the ISM code, the objectives of Trust Ship Management Pte Ltd. are to:

  • Comply with mandatory' rules and regulations
  • Provide for safe practices in vessel operation and a safe working environment, to prevent the human injury and loss of life of its employees and the general public
  • Operate in a manner to avoid damage to the environment in particular to the marine environment
  • Assess all identified risks to its ships, personnel and the environment and establish safeguards against identified risks
  • Protect the ship, its freight and public property
  • The safety management skills of workers on the shore and on board of company boats are constantly strengthened, including the preparedness for safety and environmental emergencies.
  • In view of its customers' quality provision (e. g. maritime transport services), it takes into consideration the codes, guidelines and standards recommended by the IMO, classtification firms, flag state or maritime sector organizations and applicable to the nature of related business activities.

The objectives of the Company are fulfilled by :

  • Recruitment on board and ashore of properly qualified and competent staff.
  • Duly qualified and competent DPA appointment, alternate ashore DPA and on-board safety officer.
  • Preparation of a drill plan to cover all anticipated emergencies for shore personnel and vessels. These drills are done onboard and on the shore in accordance with the drill plan. By checking the exercises performed.
  • Regular on-board safety meetings and the SMS review of the Master.
  • Carry out proper research/assessment/analysis, take preventive and remedial actions for all incidents such as near misses, accidents, dangerous occurrences, non-compliance or observations.
